1. Do I need a maintenance package?
In short, yes. Every website needs support. Having a maintenance package means you don’t run the risk of your website going down, getting hacked, and much more. It gives you protection knowing you’re not at risk.
2. How long am I tied in for?
Good news, you’re not. If you sign up and decide you don’t want to continue your plan, we just need one month’s written notice via email, and we’ll stop providing support at the end of your next billing cycle. No long contracts!
3. Do your packages include hosting?
Our packages don’t include hosting by default. Our monthly hosting fee is £60/month. However, if you sign up for a maintenance package, we can bundle this in with a 20% discount.
4. What are security updates and plugin updates?
Security updates help keep your website as stable and secure as possible, whereas plugin updates can prevent your website from being hacked.
5. When is the support team available?
Our support team is on hand for you 7 days a week, from 7am to 10pm.
6. Do you offer a free trial?
Yes we do! You can signup for a 30-day free trial. When this ends, you can either sign up for one of our paid plans or you can cancel completely. No questions asked.
7. What's included in a ''content change''?
Content changes are things like: changes to text, images, banners, headers, footers, style changes, adding blogs, editing blogs, adding a new landing page, adding vouchers to e-commerce websites.
Content changes are not: custom development work (eg. developing a new plugin, entire new section of the website), graphic design or photography work.
8. How long do you usually take to respond to a support request?
With every request you raise, you’ll get an immediate automated response, confirming that we’ve received the details. Following that, you’ll hear from one of the team within an hour, who will explain that they’re looking into it. They’ll also give you an indication of how long it’s likely to take to resolve.
9. How long do you usually take to resolve a support request?
We aim to resolve all issues within 24 hours. We don’t think you should be waiting longer than that. If for whatever reason however, our team think it might take longer, they will let you know why and how much longer it’ll be.
10. Do you manage eCommerce websites?
We certainly do. As long as the website is built using WordPress, we support it. E-commerce websites are more complex and take more of our resources to look after, so they require our Perform or Grow plans.
